Saturday Morning in Homer

Although we woke early and a bit groggy from a short and restless night, we were excited to see the sun shining and the breeze blowing.

We ate breakfast next door to our hotel at the Duncan House. Their biscuits and gravy were sub-par, but their scrambled eggs were the best un-doctored scrambled eggs I can remember.

We then took a driving tour of Homer. We stopped at the museum in the Alaska Maritime National Wildlife Refuge. John had already seen it, but we went anyway. After exploring a bit inside, we went down to Bishop's Beach on the path from the museum.




We also capped off breakfast with some yummy treats from Two Sisters Bakery. (Justice Christen introduced John to their baked goods last fall.)
