The sixteen year old daughter of John's justice passed away suddenly this past Saturday. The magnitude of this loss for their family is almost incomprehensible. Our thoughts are with them.
As it turns out, my current principal, was Caroline's teacher in 4th grade. It made attending yesterday's service even more impactful, as I considered the loss from both a family's standpoint and a teacher's.
The service was a lovely tribute, though, to all her family and the community had done to support Caroline throughout her life and struggles with autism.
