John, Jimmy, and I went to see Portage Glacier today. It is located on Portage Lake in Chugach National Forest.
How incredible!!!
We saw several glaciers, but Portage is huge! It is 4 miles high. There are beautiful tributaries and waterfalls. I'll post pictures later; but, for now, here's a video of the cruise we took, which is pretty representative.
