Going for a Walk

On Saturday, John and I took Hayden for a walk along the Chester Creek trail. This trail picks up by the lagoon, which is right near our house. Thought you'd all like to see some pics. It's soooo beautiful!! (at least, I think so)

  2. a) brand of harness? we just ordered one from EzyDog.
    b) Hayden seems totally unsure of either the picture or the walk.
    c) why do these photos remind me of that lake we went to as kids with cousins chris & lisa in washington state? am i just that unaccustomed to green?

  3. a) Yuppie Puppy apparently... http://www.petco.com/product/109839/Yuppie-Puppy-Non-Pull-Mesh-Harness.aspx?CoreCat=OnSiteSearch It has the "sherpa sleeves" and the mesh in front... she's a super puller and it controls her really well.

b)That's kind of her natural ear position... she likes her walk... not as big a fan of pictures... she always kinds of looks like that

    c) ...because that's the only kind of green lake that's in your backyard ;) It is vaguely reminiscent.

  4. a) Sorry... by controls I means keeps her from pulling... I'd purchase it again in an instant.

  5. we have the easy walk harness (which is a pull control harness with a front-latch). we're getting an ezy-dog harness which allows him to be more mobile (better for running, and hopefully i won't have to take it off when we get to parks). and, the ezy-dog harness comes with a seatbelt attachment, which is fantastic!

  6. Hmm... you'll have to let me know what you think when you get it. I would definitely recommend the "Yuppie Puppy"-- except for its name ;) It doesn't have a seatbelt attachment... but it fastens at the top... when we go to the park to play fetch, we don't have to take it off and it's easy to get on and off. So, hopefully ezy-dog harness will be all you hoped for... if not, you might try the one from Petco. It really does work well... though Hayden is a medium-- so Taro would be at least a small.
